Dr. Orphan recently appears in conversation with Jason Gonzales in Chalkbeat Colorado where they discuss Colorado’s return to college campus in Fall 2020. “Even with the precautions, there is still a risk — and that risk is human life,” Orphan said. “It’s my hope that institutions will really emphasize and prioritize human life over their finances.”

Dr. McClure recently published with EdSurge where he discusses how burnout takes shape in higher education, stating, among a series of considerations, that “leaders should advocate for improved work conditions and push back against policies and practices that undermine job security and mental health.”

Dr. Koricich’s research has appeared in the Review of Higher Education and book chapters in series such as Higher Education: Handbook of Theory and Research and New Directions for Higher Education. He  has been interviewed for stories in outlets such as NPR, the Atlantic, USA Today, the Hechinger Report, and German Public Radio, and he has spoken to numerous organizations, including the American Association of State Colleges & Universities, National Scholarship Providers Association, the Oregon Community College Association, and the Pew Charitable Trusts/Senate Economic Mobility Caucus.
